O que as pessoas dizem
We absolutely loved the room. Nicely decorated, own kitchenette with cookware, and stylish. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was also really comfortable.
Tap water in the room was really tasty, as it is considered one of the best tap waters in Europe. WE also had a little fridge in the room, which was really useful and unexpected.
Breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed a Nespresso coffee, with freshly squeezed orange juice, some organic bread, butter and selection of jams and spreads, and boiled e. todos opiniões »
The lovely house with its cute kitchen and yard and Karen's warm
welcome. She made me a cup of tea when she saw that I had just arrived
from a long tiresome flight. She speaks fluent English, Spanish, French
and Belgian of course and makes you feel like you've known her for
years. She also prepared a delicious pot of strawberry jam for breakfast
which she prepared herself the day before.
Karin is a great host, she made us feel really comfortable.
In my opinion, the B&B was a much better choice than a hotel, we had the opportunity to meet and socialize at breakfast with other guests.
It's a great choice for those who like small and cosy hotels. The host family was lovely, the hotel itself has a very unique design and metro and tram stations are just 7 minutes away.
Karin was wonderful, the rooms were simply but beautifully furnished, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy. The location was ideal for shows at the Botanique.
The house has a positive energy, Karin is very hospitable and makes you feel like you were at home. The location is convenient for visiting the city and transfer.
Quite a peculiar place - 19th century building with charm, 4 meter high rooms and very tall windows. Host treats you more like relative than visitor.
It's a really nice and unique place, with friendly staff, near to the downtown.
So different from the typical hotel experience.
Meet with people.
Karin.
The owner is really friendly; quiet location.
Exellent beds. Friendly staff.
Friendly and informal staff.
The host family are simply wonderful, very kind, hospitable and helpful. That was the biggest plus of this facility. The free wifi worked well. The house does have character, as one of the previous reviewers said.
Friendly reception and service, the house has character.
Nothing, really, Maybe the location, a bit scary and it looked rough during the night, but we didn't have any incidents or problems of any kind. Anyway, the hotel is located just 10 minutes walking to the subway, and you can actually walk to the Grand Place in 25 minutes, or Place Poalert and Avenue Louise in just 20 minutes!.
The stairs to the rooms. But there isn't much that can be done since
there is no space for an elevator. Karen's assistant took up the
luggage for me.
Location: the neighborhood seemed clean and safe but was relatively uninteresting, not much in the way of shops or restaurants.
Location is not much to write home about and a bit hard to find - locals a couple of blocks away don't know where such street is.
No parking.
bathroom.
Toilet and bathroom were down the stairs in the hall (which was not clearly advertised in the room description) and a bit basic.
The bathroom is an enclosed part of the apartment wihout a ceiling, so you hear everything your partner does. The room takes longtime to warm-up. Ne elevator to third floor.
I was in the basement room and there was quite a strong smell in the basement hall which partly permeated into the room. Also the noise of the boiler / central heating cutting in and out was rather disturbing.
I thought I'd booked a room with its own bathroom and toilet, which is what the description on letsbookhotel.com implied. Unfortunately, that was not the case - there was a shared bathroom and toilet in the corridor and it was not possible to lock the bathroom (!!!), which absolutely shocked me. It was quite difficult to lock my room, too.
There was noise in the street until late at night and from early in the morning. I was there during some big trade fair and everywhere else was overpriced. So was this.
the owner was in argentine and there are no personnel in the hotel only a neighbor!!!.
Toilet and a bathroom are separately, not in the room as written on booking confirmation
They took full payment beginning of stay, not the end from the bank account, despite of the info in letsbookhotel.com.
