Above all, the couple’s running the place are extremely nice as can be and would do anything possible to please & help. The owner “insists” helping planning the days with a lot of patients & knowledge. I really cannot think of any objections or criticism.

Excellent service at the hotel made it a pleasant stay. Wolfgang even went out of his way to help us book tickets to the railway train & gave us recommendations on where to go on rainy days, which was much needed with a 2.5 yr old toddler in tow.
Our room was very clean, cosy, modern and well-equipped.
There was a good selection at that buffet breakfast as well as a big collection of toys in the children's corner which kept our toddler very happy.

Loved the location, very close to center of Halstatt. If you are using
gps don't trust it. The street is the first one on the right as you
come out of the tunnel. Street looks like a small one way but the hotel
is close with good parking. If I hadn't been watching the gps so
closely I would have seen their big sign. Very nice big room but the
location was awesome and town beautiful.

We found our perfect place in the Alps. The location and facilities were amazing. Great for families, because of the animals, playground and games. Close to many attractions for families. Extremely clean and well outfitted apartment. We also enjoyed the sauna, which accommodated our family of 4. .

The room has a wonderful view of lake Hallstatt and Mt. Dachstein. Elisabeth, the owner of Apt. make trip so easy for us, she is a great host. It felt us that we stay at our own house. Its clean and warm. Probably staying at Obertraun is better then hallstatt which is less touristic and more close to Mt. Dachstein.

The best thing about this place is definitely the hosts and their hospitality. They make every effort to make your experience feel like home. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Everything that you may happen to need during your stay is already there. There is parking on the grounds and location is bit secluded and away from the lake but beautiful

The facility had a lot of "ginger-bread" options. Nothing was lacking! Our room was extremely comfortable with a sink and mirror in it. We also had an extremely we-stocked kitchen/dining room and very nice private bathroom across the hall. The Host and Hostess were extremely gracious! Their home is within 1.5 km of Halstatt but outside the bustle of town. We loved it and would consider going back for a more extended stay!

I stayed two nights at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. I stayed in a surprisingly large "single" room, with a "sideview" of the lake. The room was pleasant and supplied with all amenities, and I particularly enjoyed having a comfortable spot for my netbook; Their wifi connection was excellent.
