Location: for seeing Saltzburg and the surrounding area it is near perfect, granting easy access (via public transport) to the city whilst allowing private motoring with ease. Comfort: we opted for a room with balcony and, despite the road noise, were pleased we did as this gave us that little more space and the chance to sit outside. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. Staff: absolutely perfect, almost as if nothing was too much trouble, helpful to the last. Break.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to that hotel. It is quite small, very clean, and it really feels like home. Hotel staff is very attentive and ready to help and give some advice about places to visit, getting there, most interesting tours, etc. The hotel is located within walking distance from Hellbrun palace and the Zoo (of course, you can go there by bus as well). The hotel is very quiet, although a major highway is only about 200 meters away. This hotel is very excellent, we had a free upgrade to bigger apartmentry which is very clean and comfortable with a wounderfull views, well equiped kitchen area. The gardens are very interesting. We stayed two nights and breakfast was very good both mornings .The owners are very helpfull. just a small recommenditons to add a playground for kids and adding more TV English and Arabic chanles. one more thing, it's good to add a luandry room. Location excellent if you have a car extremely quiet and cosy Wonderfull staff especially Dianiel, very considerate always ready to help with a smile The town Anif is less touristic yet beautiful rooms are clean, the balcony was gr8 breakfast was good, the free coffee around the clock made us feel very welcome and adds to the atmosphire of generosity that is felt around the hotel. If you're not stuck on having to stay in the city of Salzburg itself, this hotel is the greatest for the money. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was modern, comfortable, and more spacious than needed. It's located 15 minutes from center-city Salzburg, in a peaceful, rural area directly near the Autobahn. Next to the highway, only 10 minutes from Salzburg city center (by car), yet in a beautiful rural area. Less than 5 minutes to Hellbrunn Pallace. Spacious apartment, very clean. Owners very helpful. This was a great family run hotel that was in a great location - outside of the city (Salzburg) and very close to other highlights like King lake, the salt mine, and Eagles Nest. Actually it was all good, the owners were all so very helpful and made the stay even better. Good substantial breakfast to set you up for the day, and coffee whenever you liked. real big roomy modern above most expectations apartment with very good facilities , adequate breakfast in nice quiet farm-like surrounding, but 2 only min drive to town. Great place for reasonable price. Everything is perfect. all. A great view of the mountains, well placed for the road networks and ten minutes drive from the lovely town of Salzburg. Free use of the tea/coffee machine. Friendly family run B&B. Motorway road noise is noticeable from the rear-facing rooms but we got used to it. You have to be willing to travel (not difficult with local buses) in order to find restaurants but this is a minor issue. Would prefare if toilet was seperate from shower, we were 5 girls in one room and it was a bit difficult also 2 mirrors for 5 girls, we really missed a mirror in the bedroom and maybe extra pillows. Motorway is a little bit close (and noisy). Nothing worth mentioning. Too close to the highway. These were hot days and there is neither an air-condition nor a fan. Nothing . Many of the other hotels that we stayed at during our two week tour of Germany and Austria had a little area or playground for the kids. It would have been great to have something like that at the hotel. The garden was nice and well maintained otherwise. the only and single thing we didn't like is..no elevator ! we had the room at second floor ( 2 floors beside ground floor ) and.. it is really a down side to such otherwise new-modern roomy apartment-room facility carrying suitcases up and down. There was nothing to dislike. The only disadvantage was having to go out for dinner in the evening. Gps has trouble finding the hotel but there are signs on the road. A bit far from restaurants. Nothing: everything was good. Motorway is very close, so a little noisy (not visible though).

This family-run boutique hotel in Anif is just 5 km from the centre of Salzburg and right next to the Salzburg-Süd exit of the A10 motorway. WiFi and private parking are provided free of charge. Behind the façade of a traditional Salzburg farmhouse and reopening in May 2020 after extensive renovations, Hotel Das Essigmanngut offers modern rooms and apartments with a flat-screen TV with cable and free SKY channels, wooden floors, and a tea/coffee maker. Facilities also include a refrigerator and a modern bathroom with hairdryer. The apartments also feature a kitchenette, and most rooms and apartments have a balcony. A rich breakfast is served every morning at Hotel Das Essigmanngut. All day long, coffee, tea, juices and water can be enjoyed free of charge in the breakfast area. Guests can relax in the large garden with its panoramic mountain views. Local restaurants and cafes can be reached on foot in 15 minutes or less. The Anif/Reschbergerweg Bus Stop, with direct connections to Salzburg (line 25), is just 200 metres away, and the ride takes about 15 minutes.
