Nice decent staff that could help us out with our queries. Could park the car on their driveway for $5 as the usual free roads round the corner were rammed with cars visiting the stadium for big matches. Well equipped kitchen and lots of fridge space. Decent communal area where people can chat and socialize. Clean beds and bathrooms, never had to wait to use the toilet or shower - plenty of hot water.

Is a party hostel, not really bad but if you don't like noise or people wondering into the dorm at 4am this place isn't for you. My dorm bed was broken so sleeping wasn't that comfortable but we only stayed one night which was ok.

Very affordable, girl on the front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful.

Bunks were very creaky. I had booked us as a group in a dorm and we had been sharing a key as we were all together.. And at 4am in the morning the owner found one of the group outside the door, interrogated him and instead of just checking the id that he had previously logged...woke me up to verify that he was part of our group. I find that pretty poor show from an owner.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere so much space in the dorm staff are great, choice of movies and to chill out with other travellers while watching tv in the lounge, and free tea and coffee-:)

The staff are great and full of helpful information, short walk to city centre and a stones throw to the train station.

Nice size room helpful staff really nice female bathroom so clean and a ghd! Sheets smelled of fabric softener nice touch good atmosphere here good size common room and kitchen is basic bt good size near town for shoping etc

Wifi 5 dollers a day no locker in room I stayed out in main hall 5 dollar deposit for same

The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Cheap bbq for 2 dollars was a nice touch.

The bathroom facilities were awesome, cleanest I've ever seen at a hostel! Water pressure was so and so. Nice touch with a hairdryer and straightener in the girl's bathroom. Staff was great!

Kitchen was nasty! So small and dirty. Didnt want to cook anything in there! Matress was also very poor, big hole in the middle.

Staff very good friendly & helpful

Prices massively increased to exploit people on lions tour. This was common across Brisbane & not unique to this hostel. £130 for 3 nights in an 8 bed shared dorm is excessive

Very well located, not far from bus station, city center and the beach. The hostel propose some facilities like a big kitchen, a pool, big screen, it is a nice place to meet people.

I hated the bed, very painfull for the back. I was also cold, I had no blanket. The room was very durty and noisy but mainly because of the people occupying the room who did not care about others. Internet is very expensive. It would have been better to share a room with a group of friends. I was on my own and sharing a room with strangers was not a good idea.

Price Location

Small under-resourced kitchen and laundry. Not enough washing line space in laundry Not enough tables/chairs in eating area. Not big enough fridges, no freezer Not enough storage space in kitchen

Location is good, close to the train station. The kitchen is big so it's nice. And the shower are clean.

Staff unfriendly. Hours of the reception (nobody between 12:00 to 14:00 and stop at 20:00).
