  Really helpful and friendly people. did all they could to help us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was lovely and so were the rooms. They picked us up from the railway station at a most ungodly hour and did all they could to get us into our rooms as quickly as possible. They all spoke very good English and could answer any of your questions. They actually cared about making us happy and wanted to make sure that we would return in the future. Their customer service was superb. Location was right in the heart of the old city. Good for shopping, eating and tours.

  Lovely little Hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter There is no doubt that Hanoi Grand Hotel staff are amongst the most professional, hospitable and helpful of any hotel in Viet Nam. We stayed 3 nights but spent one night on a cruise in Halong Bay.   Everything about this hotel is fantastic! It has character, comfort, staff, location and value for money all working in its favour!   We recently stayed at the Hanoi Blue Sky Hotel and it was awesome! This was our first stop in Vietnam and it was definitely the best service we have encountered in SE Asia (have already been to Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia).   I stayed in an 8 bed dorm in the Titanic Hostel. It was clean and comfortable. There was an ensuite shower room adjoining the room and extra shower/toilets on other floors. It has a friendly atmosphere and you are guar - I cannot say enough good things about this Titanic hostel! If you need any advice, need a new friend, or need to find a bar that's open after hours, they can help you out with whatever you need!   I was welcomed with my own personal sign which was a nice touch. The manager Tony was extremely helpful and would do anything to make my stay better. There wasn't a single room available when I arrived so he gave me a double at no extra charge.   The staff was really friendly and not pushy about tours :) You can easily take bus nr 17 (7000vndong) from the airport to long bien busstation. Walk to the right if you go out the airport. you first see the busses from 40.000 dong (shuttle) but walk a little bit further and there is the local busstation. - location and friendly staff
