The hotel is much better than what you think out og the information provided online (maybe it was recently remodeled). The decorations is excellent, very clean and new and it couldn't be better located: right in the middle of the night market and 2 minutes walk from the water muppet theatre! - I like the internet and breakfast included in the price

young woman I have ever met. We were upgraded to 2 family rooms with
balconey's for our first night here. We had just arrived in the old
quarter of Hanoi and were pretty shell shocked. Very, very busy city in
Vietnam and the old quarter just concentrated bedlam. Mary was just the

We stayed here one night before going to Halong bay. Cheap room got it on a deal and luckily got an upgrade when we got there. Told reception we would come back after the tour but the room was taken as the occupants had some trouble. Mr Tony sorted us out with alternative accommodation at a more expensive sister hotel and paid for our taxi for the same deal price. The room was a good size, actually had a shower with a glass door so no wet floor. And flat screen tv. The staff were very helpful a

The staff were fantastic. Our welcome when we arrived after a very long journey and very little sleep made us feel like we had really started our honeymoon. Only complaint would be that the bar closed very early and seemed to change from night to night.

I was feeling happy when staying at this Hotel. Just a few steps from the Hoan Kiem lake so it was nice to have a walk or jog around the lake every morning. Room is clean, good design, breakfast on 7 floors is all complete and delicious. Mai Charming is a great hotel for you to stay in Hanoi!

For visiting the Old Quarter the location is as good as it gets. Looking around at other similar priced hotels in this area the Tirant stands up very well. I stay in many hotels but this services was perfect. I had some problems and they help with everything. They change date train and plain tickets ask me everything oke. They realy care you. I will say when go hanoi go TIRANT HOTEL. This i wiill tell my friends nowing whn they come back still be friends.

I love this hotel. It has cosy rooms yet quite opulent, hip and trendy decor. Attention to detail is great. Staff are amazing, so helpful and nice always. All the things I appreciate - good airco, comfy beds, plenty hot water and good wifi. Not to everyones taste, a colleague found the rooms dark and claustrophobic, but I love the sense of disconnection to the hustle outside.

We like everything from this hotel.i think its the first time I rate
an hotel like that. 10/10. we had a luxury junior suite on the
top of the building 8th floor. The elevator stop at 7th floor and you
have one extra little stair and you arrive on the 8th floor. Nice
view of the city, large window...everything is perfectly clean !!

From the moment we arrived in the hotel the staff were very helpful. Our room was was very modern and clean. We stayed for one night before going to halong bay and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage with them while we went on the cruise and also have use of a hotel room to shower before our flight when we returned from the cruise.
When we enquired about the Water Puppet Theatre, one of the hotel staff went out to the theatre to buy our tickets for us which was very helpful.
