In one word it would be Mary the most serene, gentle and most helpful
young woman I have ever met. We were upgraded to 2 family rooms with
balconey's for our first night here. We had just arrived in the old
quarter of Hanoi and were pretty shell shocked. Very, very busy city in
Vietnam and the old quarter just concentrated bedlam. Mary was just the

We stayed here one night before going to Halong bay. Cheap room got it on a deal and luckily got an upgrade when we got there. Told reception we would come back after the tour but the room was taken as the occupants had some trouble. Mr Tony sorted us out with alternative accommodation at a more expensive sister hotel and paid for our taxi for the same deal price. Loan at the front desk made my entire stay in Hanoi so much more enjoyable. She was helpful while I was planning my trip from San Francisco, and offered great suggestions while I was in Hanoi. We like everything from this hotel.i think its the first time I rate
an hotel like that. 10/10. we had a luxury junior suite on the
top of the building 8th floor. The elevator stop at 7th floor and you
have one extra little stair and you arrive on the 8th floor. Nice

From the moment we arrived in the hotel the staff were very helpful. Our room was was very modern and clean. We stayed for one night before going to halong bay and the hotel allowed us to store our luggage with them while we went on the cruise and also have use of a hotel room to shower before our flight when we returned from the cruise.
When we enquired about the Water Puppet Theatre, one of the hotel staff went out to the theatre to buy our tickets for us which was very helpful.

The very warm welcome. Rooms were good, fine breakfast and good location in the city.
We also booked a tour to Halong Bay which was good and not expensive. We could leave our luggage at the hotel in the meantime. When we came back from the tour (we would leave that night by nighttrain) we got a room for free to freshen outselves up! Great service.
