further away from the crowdiness of the Hanoi city centre and it is much
more peaceful and relaxing living in this district. Our hotel room is
facing the westlake, so the view from the room is great.

It was a very nice hotel and quiet location yet close to all the main
attractions of Hanoi. We found it very relaxing and very friendly. The
staffs are very helpful and very polite. Staff at the front desk was
particularly helpful. All the staffs made you feel attended to and
welcome. The breakfasts were fantastic and the restaurant is excellent,
but a bit pricey for Vietnam. We had a great stay and would not hesitate
to return or recommend the hotel to fellow travelers.

The staff were fantastic. Our welcome when we arrived after a very long journey and very little sleep made us feel like we had really started our honeymoon. Only complaint would be that the bar closed very early and seemed to change from night to night.

For visiting the Old Quarter the location is as good as it gets. Looking around at other similar priced hotels in this area the Tirant stands up very well. I stay in many hotels but this services was perfect. I had some problems and they help with everything. They change date train and plain tickets ask me everything oke. They realy care you. A first class hotel with great facilities, lovely ambience and helpful staff. Spacious, elegant and a delight to be a guest there. Plenty of comfortable public areas and a delightful covered atrium courtyard....try the huge afternoon tea - but be sure to have a good appetite and some hungry friends to be able to do justice to the wonderful feast!

I love this hotel. It has cosy rooms yet quite opulent, hip and trendy decor. Attention to detail is great. Staff are amazing, so helpful and nice always. All the things I appreciate - good airco, comfy beds, plenty hot water and good wifi. Not to everyones taste, a colleague found the rooms dark and claustrophobic, but I love the sense of disconnection to the hustle outside.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights during our dragon boat holiday in Hanoi. The hotel is not In The old quarter, which I chooses deliberately to avoid the hustle and noise in the old quarter.
Free wifi, simple but adequate breakfast (they have pho, a local rice noodle, very delicious), the travel guide I found in the room is also very useful.
