hi all my partiner and i stayed there for 2 nights last week carol greeted us with the biggest southern smile around she and the rest of the staff were most helpful getting us settled in after a 16 day trans alantic cruise we had 2 friends traveling with us they had a mixup with there booking dates BUT carol sorted it out and found the accom at one of there other accom hotel no trouble at all we loved the area sooo close to everything and would stay again and reconmend to anybody to sta.
wszystkie opinie » Located in the heart of French Quarter, 5 minutes walk from Bourbon Street, 10 minutes Jackson Square or Canal Street. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street. We had a great time in the French Quarter and at the Inn on St. Peter. It's far enough from the sound and smell of Bourbon Street to preserve one's sanity but is just a short walk away. The Inn was charming and cozy with an old world flavor. It shows its wear, but that's part of the appeal. We highly recommend it for people who don't want the spit shine you pay dearly for at the mega hotels in the area. Having been to New Orleans twice before, I have never stayed anywhere in the French Quarter. The Inn was SUCH a wonderful property. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The bed were heavenly. The Inn at St. Peter is perfect for visitors who want to be close to Bourbon Street without being too close. It is seven short blocks from Jackson Square and close to restraurants and shopping. This hotel was great, just far enough removed (3 blocks) from Bourbon Street to get a good night's sleep but close enough to all the action. All of the staff - front desk and housekeeping - were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly small but very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Wifi was free and good strength. The staff were so so friendly, couldn't do enough for you. The cleaners were very thorough in the room...unlike a lot of other places we had stayed whilst on a road trip. The Inn On St. Peter was just adorable; the building has the feel of the rest of the French Quarter but the rooms were very modern and spacious. Being in the heart of the French Quarter. Only two things come to mind. The air conditioner leaked water into our suitcase and the breakfast was meager at best. A minor point but the 'breakfast' mentioned on letsbookhotel.com is only coffee and a piece of fruit (orange or apple) that you have to collect from reception and take back to your room. It was appreciated but not sure it really constitutes a breakfast. In a room on the 2nd floor, there was no daylight. The French doors had fixed curtains. Perhaps blinds to let a bit of natural light in would be a suggestion. Apart from that, the place was fantastic. The only thing that went wrong was that they forgot to replace our towels on the second day we were there, but it was a very easy fix. I would have liked them to have a breakfast option even if its quick and small. The stairs in the courtyard are a little tricky at first since they are a bit steep. Motorcyclists seem to love revving their engines and FLY at night. The room size was a bit small. Not unmanageable, but a bit tight with luggage, ironing board, etc. We just kept our things tidy and organized, and it was fine. My only dislikes are nitpicking and minor. The t.v. didn't swivel but I really didn't come to NOLA to watch t.v. The wifi at night was glitchey but worked great during the day. "free" breakfast consisted of oranges and apples but I rather walk to Café du Monde anyways. Everything overall was great. If I had to find something negative... The room was somewhat small but it is a historic building so there is probably very little that could be done about that. The bathroom didn't have a vanity. My only suggestion would be to have robes/slippers and some kind of welcome to NOLA information - a city map would have been very helpful - in the room. Even a phone book!. The Parking was off site 5 blocks away. You need to make sure you have all you need unloaded and then park your car. This is probably not uncommon for the French Quarter area. Very loud in the morning if other guests were outside. We could hear everything they said. Nothing. We had first floor room off of the street, our window had a shutter on the outside so couldn't see out. Good if you wanted to sleep in. Next time I would request another room. There are plenty of choices, but we were there at French Quarter Fest so hotel was totally booked. Room was too small. No amenities like little refrigerator, microwave, not even hair dryer in the room. Ice maker was in the court yard. Our room was on the first floor so I had to go out to street and then through court yard's locked door with ice bucket to get ice. Parking was very difficult - no parking near hotel; long walk to recommended lot for which you had to pay extra. No assistance or elevator for luggage. Had to make several trips with large bags up narrow stairs. Found a large roach in bathroom (which we "handled" on our own). Internet access was very difficult (free network availability kept going off and on; not consistent). The noise was a bit annoying. Wifi did not work very well. Although we arrived after check-in time, and had a reservation, we waited 50 minutes for our room to be made ready. Desk clerk kept saying he just arrived and didn't know what was wrong. Isn't that his job?. A bit dark, and the circuit breaker blew a couple to times. The party-goers on our balcony. Perhaps the hotel should invoke a quiet after midnight policy. No complaints about anything. No onsite or near parking. AC wasnt cool enough. Still humid in the room. a bit too noisy - as we were directly across from the club on the adjacent corner. Bedroom a little small. No Parking. Room was fairly small, too small if you plan on staying more than a night. Our room was next to the office and when the staff arrived in the morning, it sounded like they were chitchat ting at the foot of our bed! We heard about a bendryl experience gone bad among other things. No parking available. The rooms are extremely small and mine only had windows on the door. did not like the fact we got a parking ticket while unloading our car, as advised,....the staff member was not watching ..... The wifi didn't work well in the room Had to leave the door open or go outside. Mini ipad didn't work at all. None. towel bar fell off wall. If going around Mardi Gras - it can be a little loud outside of room - due to the room on a one way out of the quarter. Noise from the street.
