The Chelsea House staff was awesome, very helpful & pleasant. The rooms were very clean but being a historic building, a little small. Chelsea House is in a GREAT location!!!! We were a 2 minute walk to Duval Street and a 10 minute walk to the beach (perfect)!!!!! Overall we had a GREAT stay at the Chelsea House & absolutely love Key West!!!!. The Chelsea House was very nice and the staff were very accommodating.The hotel was close to all the area attractions. My husband and I walked to everything and got a lot of exercise. We would stay at the Chelsea house again. Our stay was great.
wszystkie opinie » Great little bed and breakfast that is very pet friendly, within walking distance to Duval St, cute, modern room, friendly staff, breakfast served daily poolside...we will return again. We loved Betsy, she was so helpful and got us hooked up with great things to do around the island. We also loved our room, the king size four poster bed was romantic and comfortable. Everything! Service was great! Room was wonderful. Breakfast was nice added touch. Pool clean perfect location and free parking a plus in Key West. Hotel was clean and in an excellent location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quintessential Key West! Charming architecture and grounds. Nice pool area. Stylish room decor. 2 blocks from Duval St. The location, the pool, and the price of this hotel made it a wonderful experience. The staff members were also great!. Had to ask. Outside is a bit shabby, stairs were missing &/or had ripped skid strips (dangerous). Breakfast was just OK. Breakfast was fair, but would like to have seen a waffle maker. No real complaints. The room was a touch too small. We had to hang our clothes on pegs on the wall. The bathroom is tiny. It would have been helpful if there was a full length mirror in the room. Room basic, although comfortable. The breakfast was ok.there were bagles, cereals, yoghurt and toast. Room was cramped due to ceiling heights on third floor as my height is 6 ft 4 inches. Having to get out of bed an stepping up in the bathroom! My husband is 6' 5" did not work! :(. no closet; TV remote did not work from bed; toilet paper behind left shoulder; price was higher than other, more luxurious hotels; breakfast was minimal contiental only, no hot food. My room did not have a closet or any place I could hang my clothes up. This was a big disappointment since it was booked and I could not get another room. Room 23 needed an extra luggage stand. Deck area needs some repairs and cleaning. Breakfast. We thought they should have a full breakfast included, not a continental breakfast. The bed was a small queen with hard pillows. No closet, very small shower. Only one window. Extremely noisy air conditioner Incredibly small room with a bed only not even a chair No fridge Closet area was in the dark and largely inaccessible Safe was on the floor. 1). Many dry leaves falling from the trees in the gardens. 2). To small the room, no place to storage clothes, only fits one queen bed. 3). Continental breakfast, always exactly the same. Hotel was a little rough around the edges. But we had a fine time. This is not a bead & breakfast. Breakfast was a cold buffet served poolside consisting of a limited selection of store-bought items. The room was so small it had no closet for hang-up clothes. The a/c was a wall unit mounted so far up I had to stand on a chair to reach the controls. The blinds on the largest of 2 windows were broken and couldn't be adjusted at all. I know Key West is a tourist destination but I expected more for nearly $200 a night. Nothing.
