Location.
The town.
Helen was an awesome town with extradinary folks. The Oktoberfest is now
on our yearly calendar.
The beds were comfortable. The price was right. The lady that runs the hotel was nice.
Other than the location, absolutely nothing else. The place was a dump.
I worried about bedbugs and roaches all night. There were no other rooms
available in Helen as it was a Saturday night during Octoberfest so we
had to honor our letsbookhotel.com reservations. Take them off your website.
Everything worked - shower, toilet, sink, drains, air conditioner and we slept well.
Conveniently located to main street and shopping. Quite.
This motel was in a good location.
Close to main street.,.
The lady was friendly.
The city.
A little outdated...alpine village in could use a facelift..was there during the holidays and everywhere else was decorated for christmas except for the alpine village inn..our stay was for 2 days and the only negative response was that we had no clean towels and low on nessecities.
The carpet needed cleaning or replaced.
A little dirty.
Building are old and showing age. Coffee pot but no coffee.
Room had odd smell. Cont breakfast was pitiful. Tv remote needed batteries.
The Alpine Village Inn was very outdated and run down. The
coffee/juice doughnuts in the mornings were in the office. There
were ants crawling around everywhere even in the creamer and sugar
containers.
The couple that own the place are super sweet and elderly. I guess she cleans, or tries to clean, all the rooms herself.
The service was sweet and friendly but the Inn lacked a lot to be desired for sure.
We will be finding other accommodations from now on. Bless thier hearts.
The shower drain was very slow and water would back up while showering. The room was old and very dated, but quaint. There was a hole under the door and the carpet was dirty/stained.
Not clean,run down.
Place is really old. wallpaper peeling off walls, woodwork and doors really dirty, cob webs on walls and ceiling, needed vacuuming. The lady that runs it very sweet and friendly and accommodating but I think it is to much for her. She does everything, front office, cleans rooms etc. There are no amenities at all. No phones, No pool, No internet, etc. This could be a very nice place with some remodeling and a good scrubbing.
The rooms were very dirty. The wallpaper and paneling were coming off
the walls, the kitchen and bathroom areas were from the 1950's and
looked like they hadn't been cleaned since then. The grounds were
also cluttered with junk. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but only
stayed one. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
No ice machine or drink machine.only 2 towels in room.one of the beds
had a sour bedspread on it.hair left in tub.and no showerhead.no one
made beds up.
The place was run down and needs either bulldozed or extensive renovations. It needs grass cut, bushes trimmed, paint inside and out. Rooms gutted and refurnished.
The hotel.
