Staff were friendly. Life guard was friendly and always paying attention when people, especially kids, were in the pool. Pool has handicapped lifts for accessibility. Quiet location, close to a mall, and not a long drive to Shady Grove Metro station. Convenience; price Wonderful staff anxious to please; Wall STreet Journal and usa Today; free morning coffee in lobby; Staff found me a cell phone charger to borrow during my stay; free shuttle service to y conference location; clean rooms.
wszystkie opinie » The hotel was good. The original price quoted by letsbookhotel.com was US$242.9 + tax for 3 nights. The price came on check out was $431.61 incl tax which was higher than the quoted price. Wyndham Paul S made -$152.26 adjustment. My only issue is that the fold out couch had no sheets on it and only a blanket and pillow. We asked for a king with a couch for a reason!. The front desk was very accommodating and put a small refrigerator in my room when asked. My overall stay was very good. Most of the staff was great and friendly. Like the hotel, the room, and the bartender. He was very nice and helpful. The staff was great, especially Ms. Nolan at the Gaithersburg MD location. Very nice bedding and pillows. Most of the staff were a lot of fun,and helpful.The hotel needs some work,no major overhaul,just some upgrades. The van service was a BIG help,going back and forth to metro,shopping within a 5 mile radious. If not for letsbookhotel.com I would not have stayed there, the % I got off the rate made up for any "dislikes" I had. The staff was friendly and they responded to our concerns quickly. Staff was pleasant. Price was good. Nice bedding and comfortable. The price and location were good for us. Wall Street Journal and coffee in lobby. Nothing. Pool water was cold and had to go through 2nd floor stairs to access.. Exercise room had not been cleaned when I visited; slightly shabby. None. Paul S of Wyndham made adjustment in apparent error in the check-out. Wish cleaning personel would speak in English while patrons are around. Didn't think they should be sitting in hall, waiting to quit work. Bar could be open on weekends, with more drinks available. No microwave or fridge in room. the bathrooms had no fans and the rooms could use frigeraters. Theres no lunch, dinner only a costly breakfast. The pool didnt open until 4pm and this is summer and the "gym" well like I said in my likes side it needs to be up graded.I had a very large problem with one of the staff( I know this isn't the hotel,but it reflects on it) again if not for letsbookhotel.com I would have gone else ware. The breakfast buffet food and wait staff were horrible. There was a roach on the curtains when we first walked into out room. Even though I booked a double queen room we were given a king room. This hotel is tired and in need of updating, Carpets in hallway were tattered and dangerous tripping hazard. Elevator had broken mirrors that they tried to hide behind tattered material. Difficult to regulate A/C either on and too cold or off and too hot. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. Had to keep asking to get more than two towels and also had to ask for more toiletries. Room furnishings, exercise equipment and pool furniture were all old and in poor condition. It was a holiday weekend but pool wasn't open in the morning because it was a Monday. I was told that I had to contact letsbookhotel.com for a receipt and once I contacted booking, they called the hotel and the hotel advise that they would email my receipt to me. I still have not received my receipt. The hotel was really worn out. The room we had was damp and cold. The furniture was 2* at best. The beds were not comfortable and they were damp. Definitely a bad impression. Room keys didn't work multiple times. Lobby and elevators smelled like toilet water. Bathrooms in the room were never cleaned properly.
