If all Super 8's hotels were like this one i'd stay at Super 8's all the time. This Super 8 hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Even the cable tv was the best of any hotel I've ever stayed at. If your going to Asheville, nc stay at this super 8. You can't beat it for the money. wszystkie opinie » "Fresh remodel" is the best way to describe the accomodations. My bed was very comfortable, there was fresh paint on the walls, and the furniture sparkled. The remodel seemed to be in full swing, there were friendly and personable workers around the property. The footprint of the bathroom had been increased, so you could tell travellers' delicate sensibilities were considered. Yes, there was some construction underway, but it wasn't a hindrance. We arrived 2 hours before check-in and were allo. This was the first super 8 we had stayed in in 4 weeks in the US and found it to be very comfortable all the rooms had just been renovated with all new fit outs and they were working on the front entrance. We could not find any fault with the hotel at all. The breakfast was excellent, the staff very friendly. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great having laundry facilities. The breakfast was really filling. Love making my own waffles. Room really modern and obviously quite new. Bed was huge and so comfortable. Nearby bus stop and short walk to huge mall. Great location for exploring mountains and Asheville. The room was great. Enjoyed the frig and coffee maker. The room was very clean, newly decorated/updated. I visited the Biltmore House and the desk attendant printed off directions which were much simpler and faster than my GPS. Oh, the internet connection was great. I would like an elevator instead of the single option of a long staircase at either end of the building. I was fine climbing stairs, but others might not have been. I was fortunate to park at the base of the staircase so I didn't have to take extra steps. Could find no fault at all. There is building work at moment so little noisy during day. I would have rather been on the first floor. There was a work crew staying at the hotel. They were a bit noisy in the morning. Apart from that, everything was great. All good. The vacant building in the front was an eyesore, but I know that may be beyond your control. But as far as the hotel itself- EXCELLENT!. The representation of the motel that was shown on the Internet was deceiving, not showing the actual condition of the neighboring properties and that room entrances are exterior. It concerned us at first; but after our first night, it was evident that the proprietor is a part of rejuvenation efforts and we felt quite safe. Kudos. Being a motel outside downtosn, maybe it is too expensive, especially on weekends. Although there is a vacant property somewhat in front of the hotel (apparently a closed restaurant) one cannot blame Super 8 for that! Lovely place to visit. Was supposed to have a king size room, but had two queen beds instead...not a problem though. The password for WiFi was not given to me upon check-in and I didn't even bother calling the front desk to inquire...needed my rest anyway. Nothing was said about breakfast hours upon check-in either, so I totally missed breakfast on Friday morning. Nothing. bath and tub old but clean... Internet access is slow. Motel was currently being remodeled, will be nice when it is done. Wish my stay could have been after completion. No motel directory in the room. A little inconvenient due to remodeling of the lobby and front drive. The bathroom seemed not to have been renovated when the room was. The room was a very pleasant surprise... the bathroom was unfortunately not consistent with the rest of the room. Blankets are thin and heater had difficulty keeping room warm. Bathroom floor needed cleaning. I tried to call to change my checkout time and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I called letsbookhotel.com and they sent an email changing my checkout time, as I was on the road and did not have access to a computer at the time. Long walk to room and had to drive to downtown. the only thing and it was no big deal: upstairs room, only one entrance / stairwell which meant walking further with luggage, etc. actually for security purposes, it was probably better. Under remodeling- not completed yet. Had to kill two bugs. free breakfast was limited in choices of food. Not really walk-able to downtown Asheville but a short drive. people walking through parking lot with back packs and hanging out with out having a room or reason to be there.
