The hotel was lovely clean and bright. The bedroom was comfortable clean and had everything we needed and was a good size especially the bed. Breakfast was fresh we did not have to wait long for our food. Offered tea or, coffiee straight away. Very positive experience. We would deffinately come and stay again.

Pool was freezing when we got into it which spoiled the experience for us. It looked very inviting and should be warm all the time has people go in for a swim at different times during the day. Hopefully this will be corrected because we would love to come again.

The food and the overal atmosphere of the southview is excellent, the ease of finding the hotel, the swimming pool was great and a nice thing to have after being out for the day. The bar is very resonably priced if you want a drink and Phil was an brilliant host and hope to return in the summer.

Breakfasts were very good, plenty of choice. Swimming pool was clean and a bonus for a small guest house. Hotel was clean, rooms serviced well. Staff friendly and smart. The bar was reasonably priced, not overcharged.

Our room was spotless and the pool was great. It was really nice to relax in the pool after a long day walking and enjoying the activities and beautiful scenery of the lakes. The breakfast was delicious. I will be recommending this guesthouse to all our friends and will definately be going again. The owners are really nice, we had a great time.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and ensured that we had a veryenjoyable stay. In fact we had such a lovely break we extended our stayby an extra day! Pool was excellent as the weather was very wet duringour stay we made excellent use of the facility. The rooms are verytastefully decorated and comfortable and the breakfast was freshlycooked to order and very tasty! First class break..

Very friendly service also pointed us in the right direction for a very good local resturaunt called Wicked (which the food was).Hotel tastefully decorated and room very clean and welcoming.Would recommend this Hotel to all and would definitely stop here again.

The guys that run the hotel were really friendly and the standard of the rooms were excellent. The breakfats was probably one of the nicest breakfasts i have had at a hotel

Good location, about 30 min walk from the lake but we went during really heavy rain and so flooding was not a problem Really friendly staff Key pad entry for front door so could stay out until whatever time Lovely big rooms

Good position in Windemere, comfortable with friendly and attentive staff. Bar facility was good and reasonably priced. Nice breakfasts in light and airy dining room.

The pool was disappointing as it and the jaccuzi need a good clean. There was green slime around the sides of the pool and the jaccuzi was a rather grubby brown colour which were off putting but easily rectified. The bedrooms are not well soundproofed so there can be some disturbance from the use of the whirlpool baths in adjacent rooms.
