Lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We had not checked that the bed in our room would have no foot-board (I am 6'3") but she changed it to one without quickly and without fuss. Whenever we passed reception we got a big smile. such things make a big difference. The bar staff (Flavio) was also very friendly an helpful, offereing to bring a meal to our room - for which there was no extra charge. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay at Saints Bay hotel again.
wszystkie opinie » Fantastic staff, the chef whose food is amazing very kindly took myself and another hotel guest to the Airport and back early in the morning. The room I had was well equipped and a good size. A very friendly place to stay. A warm and helpful welcome for a female business traveler. Food good and flexible with times. Staff very friendly and room spotless. My 2nd stay but hopefully not my last. We loved everything about Saints Bay inside the building. The staff were excellent and the food was of a very high standard. It was good value for money. Very picturesque setting; quiet, clean and comfortable; ideal for my purposes. Good location on the island. Good food. Reception staff were excellent. The heated pool. food good. The restaurant is very nice alhough it was very quiet. The plates were very hot, so the meal was hot for a long time as well. Close to the cliff walk. The room was clean and the views were spectacular. staff lovely location. The only downside for us was that it is not very central. This is only a problem because I don't like negotiating the narrow lanes in our (rather large) car. No negative comments. The only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness of the area around the swimming pool. No body seemed responsible to clear up litter that had been left by other guests. Nothing. Noisy seagulls seemed to be attracted to the hotel n the early morning. Slow service in restaurant. Room was a bit cramped especially the shower. tired decor. The heating was off during the day (just in the morning and evening the heating was working). The hotel is not anymore in a maintained condition. We stayed there twice in the past (6 and 8 years ago) and the hotel was in better condition there. The controls of the shower/bath - very difficult to operate. I was on business - arrive at the venue at about 4 pm. Couldn't get anything to eat. Had an evening meeting an arrive back about 9.30 - couldn't get anything to eat apart from two bags of crisps. cold room poor dated bathroom and a cold shower below average food.
