Fantastic food, great location, very welcoming staff.
My husband and I stayed here last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Don't be put off by Sellafield if you're thinking of staying here- you can only just make it out in the distance, and the workers we met staying at Bailey Ground were quiet, friendly, and only added to the overall 'part-of-the-family' atmosphere.

I stayed on a number of occasions for multiple night stays over the last 4 weeks. Richard and his staff were very helpful and accomodating. If I am back in the area, I will use the hotel again.

The only criticism is that the internal glass could do with a clean. Externally, hard to keep windows clean as it's right by the sea, but internal glass was a bit smeary (kids' handprints). It's a real shame, because everything else was spot on.

Not the hotels fault but theres no phone signal but they have got a signal booster.
First impression of outside of building wasnt great.
The hotel had a really horrid smell especially in the corridors. There were bikes and items left scattered all over the place. The main course was terrible (fish and chips) came in about 5 minutes and was so obvious it had just been heated in a microwave. On the whole it really was not a great experience.
