I liked the central location , you could walk across back car park to National Express bus connection to Heathrow. It is a historic hotel, quirky ,lots of character.Clean comfy beds, and a refurbished clean bathroom.Great for walking around town as so central. We had a great curry as it was curry night.

We booked 1 room but got two rooms so we could park our motorbikes in front of the room. Thanks for that!
Nice place to stay. Beautiful rooms. wszystkie opinie »
The staff were polite and extremely helpful. It was a mid week stay and the room was great value for money especially as it included bed and breakfast. It was also very comfortable.
Nice clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent location for visiting the New Forest. We will be staying again.
very helpful friendly staff.
Friendly welcoming staff.
staff were very helpful.
polite staff.
Location.
I will definately stay there again, and it was very good value, found by chance on line.
In the dining room ,there is a large TV that came on mid breakfast ,loudly, with an Ugly Betty episode. This was a bit jarring, just a background Breakfast TV or News channel would have been better if at all. Most prefer to be quieter at that time.7.30am.
Nothing!.
The extractor fans in the bathrooms were extremely noisy. Whilst I wasn't using mine I switched it off, however I could hear my neighbours fan everytime they used the bathroom, which seemed to be from 5am in the morning!.
no shaver point in bathroom-empty toilet roll on floor of bathroom and the shower screen not been cleaned for some time.
Very noisy at night, people knocking on the bedroom door at 1.40 in the morning !.
Old room and dirty floor.
Dirty room - very dusty beside bed and around bedside table.
Tea making in room very dirty and not maintained - one tea bag
Executive room was very very small.
Very noisy on first floor which is right above the ground floor bar. One guest was so drunk he repeatedly tried to get into our room in the early hours of the morning.
Around 10pm the pub is a mix of both very younge and old drunkards.
If your room faces the high st expect the noise of drunk pub leavers up until 3am.
Room not ready
no toilet rolls
wallpaper coming off wall because of the damp
no toiletries
very dusty
breakfast not layed up.
