I stayed at the Pink Geranium because I was going to a 50th birthday party in a nearby town. What a good choice it was too. Friendly staff and locals. Others have mentioned the noise on a Saturday night. I too stayed on a Saturday, but knew I was staying above a pub so the noise really wasn't unexpected or an issue. Granted, I'd had a few at the party, got back at about 2a.m. and had another drink before bed!.

Owners and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Great
room, great pub and lovely atmosphere. We had a really early start and
they were happy to let us sort a quick breakfast out before we left.
We'll definitely be back, if we're in the area again.
The room was absolutely fine and the management and staff are very friendly as are the locals. If you want to feel welcome in Wales, this is definitely one to consider. Its location so near to the mountains and the industrial south is a major plus.
We arrived quite late, but were immediately welcomed. As a non-drinker,
when asked what I would like and mentioned tea, not expecting it at that
time, it was promptly made for me. The staff were very friendly and
helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Very friendly personel. I liked live music downstairs which stops at 1am. For me this wasn't any problem. There is a pub downstairs and for me it was just great. Nice local people.

A very small thing - as a previous reviewer has mentioned - a headboard
would have made sitting up in bed a lot easier.
There was a band on on saturday night and I found it hard to get to sleep until 1 am, hubby slept well though.
Steep stairway to first floor so would not be suitable for disabled.
Because its a pub can get noisy later at night, but only to be expected. Floor in our room not level, more like a fun house!!. Breakfast not very well organised.

Slightly unfortunate late night music on the Saturday night we stayed. The live band was good, and we stayed up to listen, but the background music, which was quite intrusive, went on after that until the early hours. However, it did not detract from the other positives, as we were well looked after.

quite far from city center but you can get a bus near hotel.
Entertainment going on until very late!!.
