Good beer in hotel. Assistant Manager Russ very friendly and helpful. Lovely weather when we stayed. Highlight was Northern Soul DJ's playing outside the Midland Hotel on Sunday afternoon. What a result!!. They made us feel very welcome.Room very good,bed very comfy.we had two good nights sleep.Even though they didn't do breakfast there is a wether spoons just round the corner which do a breakfast for £3.89.

Ideal for visiting the historic city of Lancaster and is within easy reach of the Lake District. Nice place. Comfortable and very friendly staff. The ground floor is a bar really fantastic. The food was lovely. It was really close to the prom and beech. Would recommend. The relaxed atmosphere, friendliness of the staff, a nice spacious room with a hot shower & secure without being in your face. Location was fantastic & the self catering apartment was just what we wanted. Will defo visit again ;-). lovely view looking over the beach and bay, reasonably priced, clean and tidy with king size bed. When I booked didnt noticed that the room was 200 yards away from main hotel when we arrived it was raining heavy then we were told room was 200yards down the road not inpressed room was very clean and tidy bed side lamp didnt work and you had to climb 6 sets of stairs do stay here if you cannot walk lots of stairs. location to the shops and bars. The Location was spot on. Stayed in Annex in Room 15. Really nice big room but just one or two things that could make it even better. 1. Clean the windows. 2. No shower door and shower a bit hit and miss. 3. Light bulbs in lamps not working. There was no lift and we where on the third floor.Even though we are relatively young my wife found it a hard work. Nothing!!!!. Not a particular problem but the climb up the stairs may be beyond some guests. The stairs wouldnt be good for people who have difficulty walking. A lift would help. There was no lift, but the staff were good enough to carry my bag up the stairs for me. Needs to shampoo in the shower and the towel rail needs switching on. noise from people leaving late pubs/night clubs not hotels fault but very audible at rear of hotel where our room was. bedrooms decor a little dated...but clean. No parking. not able to find 24h parking. One Bath Towel for two people. No Soap etc 1 pillow each.
