It was a modern twist on a "room at the inn" - the rooms had been newly renovated to a lovely standard - comfortable bed - lovely pub to have your meals - helpful staff.
Good location not much else around in the area to choose from. Continental breakfast very good, staff friendly, rooms clean and tidy.

I was a little disappointed with the food it was O K but not great. Water in my room was not very hot and shower not great. Although I paid it there is a 12.5% service charge on the food bill.
Bed too small for us as we are used to a Kingsize. Husband kept rolling off the side!.

Wash hand basin was slightly blocked. Very slow to empty

Room was on road which was surprisingly noisy, woken up 4.30 am by someone leaving, and then constant noise from 7.30 including beer delivery.
Pillows had black stains on them ( was too late at night when we realised to ask for replacement)
Pillows also v lumpy and uncomfortable.
