I took my girlfriend for her birthday and we loved it. Set among beautiful countryside the live and let live has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and extreamly friendly staff, that did everything possible to make our stay special. The restaurant is pretty and the food was delicious. We can't thank the staff of live and let live enough for makingour stay special. Very welcoming, spotlessly clean, lovely restaurant with good freshly cooked food. You have your own little cabin which is tastefully decorated. Beautiful views of the hillsides from your room and from the pub garden.
wszystkie opinie » I stayed here one night as a business traveller (always look for a nice country pub). Lovely location, mostly friendly staff, nice food. I liked the 'shabby chic' themed room. No bath but good shower. Good free WiFi. Lovely staff and locals, the piano bar has a warm open fire and a really friendly Landlord. The full English breakfast that was included in the price was spot on. The Owner and Staff were very friendly. The accommodation was excellent. We only had a one night stay, but would definitely use the Live and Let Live again. What a fantastic view of the coutryside, lovely hotel and highy recommend, very relaxing. Martin the owner was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Really friendly, helpful, relaxed, good quality, great food, and peaceful rural setting. Good facilities and easy reach of many centres. The food was fantastic and hospitality was excellent and very friendly. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Friendly welcome. Great accommodation and food. An 08:00 breakfast is no good to most business travellers, and despite me being in the resteraunt at 8:05 my cooked breakfast didn't arrive until almost half past. The recently renovated pub seems to have lost direction and possibly charm. Its very nice inside but not a traditional country pub as you would think from the outside. Not too keen on dogs in the bar personally, again, this doesn't tie in with the new 'image' inside. nothing. Nothing. A desk in the room would have been nice. If you have allergies take care in the restaurant. Cooler was broken, warm beer - but not advised and charged full price. Mouldy bread for breakfast. The rooms need soundproofing, its next to a busy road. The doors do not fit properly. There was some road noise but this died down at night and didn't cause any problems with sleeping. Had to leave. Can't think of anything. On arrival staff were friendly but didn't explain about anything within the pub or accommodation including breakfast times etc. Main road quite close so could be a little noisy. noisy traffic - doors and windows need soundproofing as next to a busy road spider in my bed. The rooms had no soundproofing so the slightest noise could be heard in the room The shower was dreadful, there was no power behind the water at all.
