we liked the pub building and atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good size shower. We felt welcome and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A relaxing venue in the heart of Grassington village. Lovely.
The hotels located in the heart of grassington within fifty yards of two

Bar Staff very friendly :-)
Location.
Reasonable value.
Lovely location, good beers on the bar, nice rooms, friendly staff and lovely breakfast!.
Warm welcome, clean facilities, good breakfast and bar food in the evening.
Staff. Breakfasts Cleanliness.
We waited quite a while for breakfast as there was a mix up with the orders and we were served someone else's order. When the meal arrived, the toast was very cold and hard. A little disappointing though staff did apologise for the delay. Overall, it did not spoil the visit and we would book again.
letsbookhotel.com not telling Black Horse about the booking. Room could easily have been double-booked. Hotel says that they won't put folk from 2 groups in same room - why not ? That's what dormitory accommodation is about!.
The weather :-(.
Extremely slow breakfast service - 40 minute wait for cooked breakfast.
No car parking facilities.
Bed not as comfy as I'd have liked, limited adjacent parking but it's worth the short walk to the public car park down the road to stay in this lovely village.
Music in the dining room area on our first night: it went on until 11pm and I wanted to get to sleep earlier.
You did not tell me of the free dinner for the first night if we were staying more than one night. We bought our dinner before a member told us of this, Awkward, but we had a full refund.
Dirty room without windows where you can look outside; two small windows high in the room, only to be opened with a pike.
Small room, bad light, one chair.
Taking 35 pound on VISA without any notice as part of the total bill.
