The staff were very welcoming and we were made to feel at home. The location was perfect for our requirements. we would definately use this hotel again on our next visit. It was perfect as a base for visiting son at uni. We look forward to going back and seeing the new decor.
I liked the friendliness of the staff, being shown to the room rather than having to find it, and the excellent food and service at breakfast. The high ceilings in the rooms certainly give a feeling of spaciousness, and the bed was really comfortable.wszystkie opinie »
The staff were so friendly, food and drink excellent. Very easy to come and go as we needed. Breakfast at the weekend at a very welcome time. Looking forward to coming back for a longer weekend!.

Unfortunately the hotel was going through a refurbishment which was not made clear when we booked through this site. The pub bar was closed, however the hotel served drinks in the temporary bar area so not a problem. There was a slight paint smell but again to be expected.
Only the shower, it didn't seem to deliver very much water (temperature was fine, it was quantity that was lacking).
I forgot to bring a flat sheet to ensure I had something over me at night. The duvet was lovely but if you are small and have a tall partner a double duvet leaves a lot of holes and lack of covering! A wider duvet would have sorted that - or a sheet.
All good, no complaints at all.
Dust on wardrobe shelf and dresser drawers (presumably from recent refurbishment) meant clothes could have got dirty had the dust not been spotted.
Poor water flow from "power" shower (even with shower head setting altered).
Room was a bit small but only for 1 night.
Extractor fan outside window did keep me awake for a bit.
