Outstanding quiet countryside location for visiting Edinburgh, 30 mins by train. Free parking, friendly staff and nice gastropub style food.
Lovely bar, with a friendly local feel. Good pub grub available on site.
Beautiful wee village within walking distance of the Firth.
Niel and Jan have a nice pub but the music keeps one awake late good for young people.
Great position though.
Price, comfort and friendly. Position was great too. Did what it said on the tin as it were....

Th were excellent,it was very peaseful.
freindley service and food very good.
power shower.
Being a very old building the windows did not open for fresh air and the cobwebs on the window shelf could have been cleaned.
Live music on Friday night brings atmosphere, but also noisy until 23:00.
The noise of the extractor fan from the kitchen was very disruptive
(Room 10) and woke me up every morning at 0630am.
The music.
No complaints though I could have done without the hoovering at 6.30am Sunday morning....from my room it was quite noisy.....room 1 if you need to know.
i didn't like no parking, staff were lazy and incompetent also too busy talking to each other rather than serve customers ,room was nothing like the website pictures, toilet fixtures were missing,.
