The Grand Washington hotel was located in an ideal location for exploring the city - walkable to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and other cultural sites. The location is great which is a walking distance from a lot of historical locations and also from the famous Istanbul Bazaar. It's very quite, relaxing and clean. Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff. Close location to the excellent tram network that runs in and around Istanbul. Very easy and simple access to all the sights of Istanbul by using the tram. This was like a breath of fresh air as I had experienced difficulty with another hotel called best Nobel And Nobel hotel so was beginning to think Istanbul was not good for solo female travellers!!!
