I had read some very negative reviews from previous guests about 3 Apples Elmadag. Now that we spent 4 nights there I'm really wondering if we've been to the same location... The area is very nice, safe, it's just 5 minutes walk from the heart of the city. There's a grocery store right at the doorstep of residence which is very convenient! Even the grocer is the nicest man I have ever met! Rooms are very large, clean and modern for this price category. We were on the 4th floor and although at t.
wszystkie opinie » I’m very happy with the great location as it met my needs. I took the Bus #96t (every one hour) From airport it took 50 minutes. Its direct line and hotel is at max.5 Minuets waking from last station Taksem. It cost 5 Liras per person. (3.5 Liras if you have Istanbul Kart) also you can take Havatach Bus @ 30 minutes (10 TL.)The Hotel is located Just one block from all Taksem public bus (due to construction work in Taksem Sq.All buses moved to main street in front ofThe hotel) The staff Mr.halil. Hotel is well located near Taksim square and Istiklal street of Istanbul. Rooms are clean. There is a microwave, fridge and some dishes for shared use in the kitchen. Very friendly owner of the hotel Halil speaks English and Russian. His assistant from Croatia is kind and cheerful girl and also speaks English fluently. Halil gave us a cup of tea when we arrived and a plate of watermelon on our last day in the hotel. We got a room better then we had reserved for the same price. We chattered a lo. Me Halil Kaldik served us really well. He allowed us early checkin (at an untimely hour of 6am, and he was woken up by us) and also upgraded our room because there was a better one available. He also accommodate us by allowing is to print tickets and served us lovely Turkish tea. He is truly hospitable, and the apartment room was very comfortable! Located jusr near enough to Taksim square (2mins) but not to the extent that every single nightclub activity can be heard. Common areas were always k. The manager, Halil, was great - extremely welcoming and helpful, always up for a conversation about Istanbul, Turkey, or whatever. The room, shared kitchen and bathroom were all very clean. Great neighborhood to stay in if you want to escape the tourist hoard and see real life in Istanbul, but still just a short walk from Istiklal square and the metro. Washer/dryer available for use, plenty of small markets with fresh produce, etc. right down the street, gave us a good map to use for free. We went to this hotel with my friend for a weekend. In my opinion the hotel is situated in the best place if your travelling about the party because near to Istiklal. We have lot of experience about the rooms because we were sleeping 3 kind of room...:) The owner is great person, he is really friendly, helpful and patient. We can bring girls for sleeping and we dont need pay to extra money. :) When we will go back to Istanbul, we will choose again this hotel! I can offer for everybody. We only stayed one night but the owners did everything to make us feel like at home. I especially liked the location near to Taksim square and the friendly and helpful staff. We got a free welcome tea at check in and had a little chat about Istanbul. Because it was off season and the hotel wasnt that full, we got offered a free upgrade and eventually slept in a bigger room for the same price. Great value for the money! We will definetely come back again... It is a nice, clean place. We lived on the last floor and had a beautiful view from the window especcially on seagulls. There is common kitchen and bathroom on the floor ( on three rooms). The hotel is in few minutes walk to Istiklal caddesi and Taksim square and metro station on it, but still it is in a quiet place. If you need any advice or help you can always ask the owner. Halil is polite, kind, with a good sense of humour, hospitable guy. Staff where great and friendly, stayed for longer than planned as for the money I was getting a clean room close to Taxim and Istikal St (two minute walk max). Facilities more than adequate. This is great affordable and safe accommodation close to the action of Istanbul. If you are on a budget and want some where to sleep and relax this the Apartments are great. The place is a good option near Isitklal street. The apartment style layout is convenient for storing refrigerated food etc., and it's easy to get back to the place from Taksim or Tunel etc. Air-con in the room is a bonus. The staff were friendly and were able to accomodate a request for an extra night without trouble. The price/quality mix was very good. It's in a very good location close to Taksim Square. The staff are very friendly and helpful and overall the apartments are very secure meaning possessions with be safe. Given all of this price is excellent value. The apartments have shared kitchen facilities which make cooking easy and also a good chance to meet other travellers. Well I have mixed feelings about writing a review... On the one hand... I can't tell you how much I liked staying here... And how much I wish I was back there now again... But on the other hand... I know I will be back.. And I am worried the place will be booked out if I write too many nice things. :-). Best thing in the hotel is mr halil he friendy and helpfull.. also his assistant andea v lovely girl.. I liked the location in the istiklal street nearby taksim metro station.. Room with internet n tv. Hostel is v clean n very secure with camera. If I went back to Istanbul sure I wl stay there. Taksim Istanbul Apart is very near to the bars and shopping of Beyoglu. The shared room had a full kitchen and appliances available in the apartment. It was fairly clean and quiet. This was an economic and very handily located room (with shared kitchen & bathroom facilities) couple of minutes walk from Taksim square. Clean & owner was friendly. Very nice and helpful staff who go the extra mile to satisfied the customers. Booked a twin room but was upgraded to a much better room which is of great value. Maybe there are chiquer hotels in Istanbul but for our purpose (budget travellers) this was the best option. I really cant think of anything that I did not like. Money well spent. The bedroom was a bit small. Security camera in the shared kitchen was a bit much. A plug socket in the room (and a light switch outside) were dangerously broken off from their wall attachment. The wifi was a bit temperamental at times. The bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable in certain parts but not too bad. The hotel can be hard to find at first especially late at night. Could benefit from better signage. The building in general also smelled a bit smokey with the rules on smoking generally more relaxed than standard hotels. There would be someone somewhere thatwill find ffault with something.. I am sure. But for me.. It was perfect. Perhaps slightly clearer directions from taksim square when first arriving from bus might be good, but moreso because we arrived at night after a football game on a Saturday so it was crazy!. The room was very small. The area can appear a little sketchy, although I didn't have any problems. There is also a lot of construction in Taksim Square, so it can be difficult to get to by Taxi. Kind of tricky to find initially - as sign outside isn't very easy to see at night, but that's Istanbul really...you go on an adventure trying to find places. Finding the location for the first time is really difficult. It is not located in a well-structured city area. hard to find the property ! and sign is so small. Nothing. near the center is very good ,but first time get the hotel is not easy. Some hair on the bed but generally very clean. No working channels on tv. Very small room. tiny room and the bed was not that comfortable.... Intimacy when busy is a bit difficult, unless you like meeting people. Some loud repair work while I was trying to sleep during the day (jetlagged); shared bath and little feeling of privacy. But considering the location and price these are not really an issue. - Room size: Too small, an extra foot width would have been nice. - Bathroom size: Too small. Nothing.
