What is not to like about this hotel... The location and staff are a standout!! The boys on the front desk were more than helpful and made great recomendations! The area is surrounded by lovely shops and cafes and a pleasant walk over the bridge to Saltanahmat or along Istiklal St to Taksim square (it is also very close to the metro and tram if your legs get a little tired). We stayed here for 5 nights and found Galata34 to be in a perfect
central location for our time in Istanbul. Only 100m from Galata tower
and an easy walk or tram to both Taksim and Sultanahmet.
The rooms were really clean, comfortable and spacious considering the affordable price.
The staff were welcoming and willing to help us with transport and any questions we had about our time in Turkey.

The view from the penthouse suit was amazing!!!!l it's a unique kind of experience...Very nice for a couple.. The staff is very helpful, freindly and polite.The location is perfect! you have a lot of resaturants bars shops around.It's close to metro and tram so also very easy to get to sultanamet;taksim or Bebek. i recommand strongly this hotel ...and i will definitely stay there during my next trip to istanbul! Perfect location - close to everywhere, walking distance to Fatih district with all the famous sights, close to nightlife facilities. Subway is only 2-min walk.

Nice place and excellent personnel. Always there and very friendly. The top floor suite has a great view in a very competitive price, compared to many other places in the area and in the whole city. The place is also located in the booming area of Galata which is next to all your traveling quests.
Perfect location! Very friendly stuff. Kerim was as if we knew him for ages. He helped us with everything we needed. All rooms are clean and nice. The penthouse is gorgeous with fantastic view, especially at night when the mosques are lighted. We will definitely go there again.

Great location in Galata, area, good variety of restaurants/bars nearby yet street quiet at night. Penthouse room is nice big modern room with a full length balcony with views. Staff friendly and efficient.
