Was a good location to escape the noise from the party area. Yes the
bungalows are up some steep stairs which aren't a problem with
backpacks but could be tricky with suitcases. One of the staff took our
bags from the pier to the reception which was an unexpected luxury
(free!). Just speak to the man at the pier holding up the Uphill Cottage
sign

The location is quite near the beach, not more than 5mins walk and near
to the 7-eleven, starbuck and McDonald. There are many shops along the
way to the beach. Taxi booking stall and massage shop near to the

We love how the owner was so friendly and she was quick to answer all
our enquiries. She also suggested us to her tour agent friend who in
turn introduced us to her restaurant owner friend. Ao Nang was a
pleasant holiday thanks to Popeye Guesthouse and the Thai people's
hospitality!

Very nice and cheap hotel in the center of Ao Nang. Very lovely and wise tourist info which we used several times in our holiday :) everything worked nicely for our two week holiday. I can recommend this place as it was really worth of our money :)
