  Beautiful old house full of pretty thai antiques, loved the traditional atmosphere and quirky feeling... very quiet street, the only noise was some 'opera' singer practicing in a house next door :)) the guesthouse is very quiet and aswell, which is wonderful in a city like this. Staff is very friendly and helpful, even let me stay till the evening... co mówią ludzie » without a need to pay for it when i needed to wait for late flight. there is a lovely shy girl taking care of daily room cleaning and breakfast cooki - Because of problems with my arrival at Bangkok I got to the Baan Tepa very late around midnight. The manager waited just for me and stayed up till I arrived, helped with a quick check-in so that I was able to rest. The next day I had a fresh delicious breakfast and the manager explained where I can go and what to do for a first visit in Bangkok. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again if I came a second time to Bangkok.

  We loved staying at SSIP. The staff were amazing - helpful, friendly, thoughtful and kind. The breakfasts were a feast of Thai specialities, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty and filling.   Location: As I stayed for 2 weeks I had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, different restaurants (Chinese on the right and Thai on the left corners/crossroads) and local sites and markets. Its about a 20min walk to the Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. We got the standard room its small but clean. Bed is in a corner. Fridge with free water and other (paid) beverages. There is a kettle. Breakfast is limited to 3 or 4 menu choices..no buffet. Perfect hotel if you are only staying for 1 or 2 nights!

  The location was great for us. Fifteen minute walk to Khoa San Road, but far enough away it was quiet and nice. Hotel was spotless! We had two rooms overlooking the pool - 301a & b and they were great. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great. We didn't eat at the hotel, but went to Ricky's Cafe for Breakfast every morning - great ... co mówią ludzie » place, great food and great iced coffee. The pool was awesome. Cool and refreshing after a hot day in the city. Laundry facilities were very clean and - Wonderful stay in this hotel. We booked 2 nights and stay 4. We came from airport, first time in Bangkok and kindly staff gave us so many informations about Bangkok, Thailand, free map etc. Staff was perfect at all - they help you with every problem with smile. And hotel and rooms were so clean, modern desined, quiet and calm in the city centre. Nice pool open till 10 pm, that was especiaaly refreshing after all day walking during the city. We really enjoed it.
