  Absolutely fantastic for budget travelers or clean room searchers in Bangkok. We really appreciated the location, right in the middle of one of the greatest areas of the capital city. The receptionist that welcomed us the first day was kind of grumpy but the next morning, the old lady - It was a very clean hostel, close to the Kao san road, where you can find a really cheap market.   Beautiful old house full of pretty thai antiques, loved the traditional atmosphere and quirky feeling... very quiet street, the only noise was some 'opera' singer practicing in a house next door :)) the guesthouse is very quiet and aswell, which is wonderful in a city like this. The manager waited just for me and stayed up till I arrived, helped with a quick check-in so that I was able to rest. The next day I had a fresh delicious breakfast and the manager explained where I can go and what to do for a first visit in Bangkok. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again if I came a second time to Bangkok.

The hotel is close to Metro (BTS) and river transport. Plenty of local food vendors nearby.
