Lek house is not in the center of Chiang Rai but not too long a walk
from the Bus Stattion, Clock Tower or Night Bazaar. I had a problem with
the toilet in my room, so they "upgrade" me to an ac room
w/TV for no extra charge. The peole who run Lek house are wondeful
and they offer a Thai cooking class. The same cook prepares the Lek
House meals but the kitchen closes at 8:30pm. Best to order food by 8pm.
They arranged an English speaking driver/guide named Chi, who took

It was located in front of a small lake. So nice n lovely! Enjoyable to sit spending time n rekaxing. The staff were very helpful n friendly enough. Comfortable common open lounge upstairs, lovely! I would say lovely n cozy considering just 450Baht per night. Breakfast included. One of the best I have stayed at during my ling traveling among the budget hostels!.
Very friendly, good restaurant, good location. We slept in two different rooms, one very basic but clean, the other more luxurious. We had a good time here.
Very nice guest house in the center of Chiang Rai.
It was the rainy season, so it did rain, especailly at night. But I knew
this before I went there, so it really was no big surprise or a problem.
Bring an umbrella and a parker if your going to rent a motorbike. A pair
of "Keen" scandals are your best friends in Asia. They are
well worth the price. Get a pair before you travel. Happy Trails!.
Pool was unavailable. . .But ubderstandable since it was cheap n low season.
The restaurant was closed on Fridays.
