The most that I liked from this hotel it was the front desk service. The lady (I forgot her name) was very gentle and friendly. We arrived a little bit tired from Bangkok with no idea of what to do those days at Chang Mai. She sat with us and explained all the offers about tours and potential places to visit, what was it good or not for us, etc. Also she booked for us the tours that we made. She teached us to order the breakfast the night before and it was ready next day at the hour you asked

Loved the Chang Thai House. Staff were great not in you face. Booked tours though them price was good. Location seemed out of the way at first but after walking around was close to everything. Excellent hotel. Big room and bathroom, all thai-style furnished.
Breakfast is included and the buffet is very good. Nice pool if you want
to relax, and there is also a thai massage centre just in front of the
hotel.Good position, only 5min walking from the old centre, and very
quiet at night. Staff is friendly, they arranged for us a private
transfer to the airport at the same price of taxis, and we could have
breakfast even if it was very early and the buffet was still not open
for guests.

If you are traveling along and need to meet other gay people, or just nice people, this is a great place. The bar crowd downstairs is local and usually a bit older, but met some lovely people and had some great conversations. And the accommodation is fine and excellent value for money.

so you can walk everywhere. We took a tour with them and it was
amazing!!! We did not see other tourists in our 2 day hike and rafting,
which is amazing for Thailand :) We would totally go back and spend a
longer time withthem!
