If you want to stay in a Thai district (not very touristic) and near a market: go for it :) It is a rather quiet neighbourhood. We liked it here and would come back. -

The great care that the staff extended to my husband and myself. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As we were elderly it was sometimes a little difficult for us but all the staff were unfailingly kind and did not make us feel that we were nuisances. My highest praise for all of them.

The hotel is 5 minutes driving distance from the center. motorcycle can be rented at the hotel up to 250B. Seven/ Eleven in walking distance. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and lovley designet. Very pleasant is the jacuzzi in the room. Rooms are very clean. Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Very good service.

Found all areas of the hotel to be immaculate. breakfast included a great variety of good food. - Location and extreme good value for money in a classical hotel, where every thing functions - including a powerful hot water shower - which is rare in many new boutique hotels that are much higher priced.

We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed at KP for 3 nights in one of the 94 sqm Lanna villas. That was a great deal well worth the extra 50USD/night for enjoying full privacy, private garden, outdoor jacuzzi, massage tables and steam room. KP site is well kept, the room service spotless, the breakfast royal (bit weak on the pastries though), the staff very friendly and access to downtown made hassle free thanks to the KP shuttle bus (book it well in advance especially on WE) or you can always book a cab

I really like the design of the hotel. Althought it;s in old city, but it uses buildings to circle an area and create a private/quiet space in the noisy city. Also, the location can not be better, it;s just in the center of the Sunday walking street, you just need to step out of the entance.
