We stayed for 3 nights. The guesthouse owner was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us not only with transportation and trip recommendations, but also greatly helped us in an emergency trip to the hospital. We enjoyed our room with all of the windows and the fact that the inn felt like you were in an authentic, more residential area of the city. We enjoyed that it felt like a friendly B&B versus just a hostel or hotel. Also enjoyed free use of bikes !! We had a great stay.
wszystkie opinie » Owners were very friendly and helpful, biggest room is very large and would be good for extended stay. One room has balcony which is great of you smoke - sit on verandah and see the world go by. Very close to town centre and near the SW gate and one of the larger markets which runs day/nite. Wonderful raised seating area outside with cushions for lounging around when it is hot. Free use of bicycles. Great value - highly recommended for single/doubles. Able to walk to most places. The best guesthouse in Chiang Mai you can have. Its a nice and small guesthouse with 3 bedrooms and a shared bedroom that is always clean. I've been many times in Chiang Mai and this is the best place. They organise a BBQ if you want to, and the owner gives you very good information about Chiang Mai. They also can get you bustickets and tour tickets. Rooms are large and the Guesthouse is laying near the Sunday Market street. The owners are THE BEST - really helpful, friendly and great fun (and fluent in English, which was extremely rare on this trip to Thailand). The guesthouse is very nice, really comfy and clean. We have some great memories from this place (specially the evening BBQ :), so be sure not to miss it. It's not just some guesthouse, it's really special. Best hostel we had during our trip so far (8 weeks) Great staff, who organized a barbecue and took us to local market. Big tv where you can watch whatever movie you want. If you want a relaxed hostel with a clean and big room, go here! We booked more nights than originally planned because we liked it than much. The guest house owners create a casual and inviting atmosphere, encouraging social interactions. We enjoyed a visit to the local market and a shared BBQ at the guest house. Loved the use of bikes in the old city. Great for a short or long stay!. Very relaxed and easy going. I quickly made friends with the owners and ended up staying longer than I first planned. Lounge, TV. BBQ's at night. It was great :). Easy to find. Great hosts. The room had a comfy bed and was clean. The owner couple was easily approachable and if you like to hang around with the owners and other guests and/or spend some time in the lounge chilling and watching tv, this might be your place to stay at. Location may not be as central as some people would like - but we found it completely accessible by bike/walking. Nothing. The bathroom is shared (between 3 rooms, we were lucky that other guests were ok, so it was not at all bad). If you plan on sleeping late bring some earplugs (it's really quiet at night, but in the morning the noise from the street will wake you up). Nothing really. Was a bit empty when I first got there but started to full up later on. Some of the people who came were a bit anti-social though I suppose that's their call. As there is no air conditioning in the room, you have to keep windows open to allow fresh air come into the room if you want to cool down the room temperature. However, this guesthouse is located at quite noisy area and there will be noise until 12.P.M. and in the morning it starts around 6 A.M. So if you are seeking a quite place to spend night at and load your batteries for the next day, this may not be your place. The toilet/shower area was dirty and there was mold in the walls.
