  Second time we go there and we found most of our friends back. A place to relax completely away from hectic things but in a very close distance to a big offer of places to visit and things to do.   I have had many visits to Allamanda and this visit did not disappoint. We booked a two bedroom suite, which was very spacious, clean and comfortable.   This is a lovely setting along the side of a quiet golf course and the laguna, and forms one of the many luxury hotels in the Laguna Phuket enclave. We had a lovely one-bed apartment with kitchenette, dining area, sofa bed in the lounge for our son, bathroom and two balconies overlooking the golf course. The food - We have just returned from a 2 week family holiday at the LHCR. The whole Laguna resort area is great with easy access on the free shuttle buses and ferries. There is plenty to do around the resort and lots of day trips if you're inclined. The hotel itself is good, not quite as plush as the other hotels in the resort but very good value for money.   - Rooms are huge! They converted a huge day-bed into a double bed for my 2 kids. Perfect for a family of 4 staying in the room! - The SLIDE at the pool is awesome! Kids love it to bits. Whilst we were there we checked out the other hotels in the Luguna area and we felt this was by far the best one. The staff were absolutely wonderful - so friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Really excellent food but go to the beech front restaurant right next door for the same thing at half the price. Excellent facilities - we made use of the c
