The staff was very helpful and friendly. Charlie speaks perfect English, which is also helpful.
The hotel was off of the main road but very quietly recessed. It's far enough from the very touristy area to feel authentic (and is cheaper) but you will need a 25 minute walk or 50 baht for a tuk tuk.

Charlie and Jeab are perfect hosts! We felt really welcome, they helped us with anything. Room is big and clean. Great shower. Good wifi. Location is also very good. Far from the noise but still close enough to the beach. Dvd's at reception is also a big plus. Thank you for everything! We recommend everybody to stay at Baan Taveesri.

Really loved this place. Chatchada (the owner) and Andy (the manager) are fantastic. It was like staying with family. Chatchada was always happy and smiling and was so helpful with any requests that we had. Andy was a great friendly Aussie, who was always laughing and joking.

Glur has far exceeded my expectations even after reading great
rewievs. Amazing setting, laid back, very clean, great hosts, comfy
beds, great design, great great great. It's a 20 min walk from the
beach but every other place thats closer to beach is on the main busy
road full of shops, restaurants, and traffic noise. This is like the
secret hidden paradise spot, so close to everything this town has to
offer yet so removed from all the touristy nonsense. And I cant
believe they dont charge more

What a truly wonderful place to unwind. Rimlay Villas is located about
15 minutes drive from very busy Ao Nang at it is location and its
fantastic owner Mama Nui is what makes it so special. Don't go there
if you want hustle and bustle, busy night life, lots of restaurants etc.
But if you want to relax in beautiful surrandings that is place for you.
There is only 6 bungalowes there so it never feels like in some busy
resort and the treatment guests get is very personal. Bungalowes are
immaculat

Greeted at reception upon arrival with smiles and free water.
Rooms were HUGE, which was a pleasant surprise. Every room had its own balcony with beautiful views of the mountains.
Pool and gym on site, bike rental and car rental available too.
I was most impressed with the friendliness of the family that seemed to own/ run the hotel. Excellent English and were always smiling and helpful!

The pool was beautiful! It was worth going just for the pool and the amazing scenary. The room was clean, lovely and big with a comfortable bed. The towels, dressing gown and slippers were all lovely. The staff were polite and helpful. -

We stayed in a Junior Villa which was fabulous. Superb bathroom, dressing area and bedroom and nice and private balcony with no other bungalows overlooking. Breakfast wasnt brilliant but did the job - the usual egg station and then extra bits to keep you full until lunch. Staff ok - reception staff not the friendliest but restaurant staff lovely.

Great value for the money. We were on Railay East, which doesn't have a great beach to tan or swim on, but was still incredibly beautiful with the mangrove trees. Also, taking the boat from Krabi, we docked right in front of our hotel - very convenient! The walk to Railay West beach is very short, only about 5 minutes, so I'd really recommend saving money and staying on the east side. The resort was pretty, and had a nice pool.
