  This hotel was a great little find. From the outside it might not look like much, but the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help. The restaurant next door is also very nice and cheap run by a lovely local family. - The room is very clean and the price is really good. Room is clean and very tidy, with a little bacony. Service is fair, don't expect the staff would do a lot of services to you without asking because they don't know a lot of English. Also Krabi is a place still developing in Thailand, when it compared with Bangkok and Phuket. Overall is very very good.

  The owner/manager is awesome! He was friendly from the first moment and has a wealth of knowledge and advice. He speaks fluent English and knows the western culture enough to anticipate needs. We also liked that the bungalows were set far enough from the road that it was quiet and offered a nice clean jungle type setting that was close enough to A... co mówią ludzie » onang beach, the restaurants and bars. The family restaurant was also cheap and located next door. One stop shop also has very reasonably priced to - Ismail is a great host. The Bungalow is very close to the beach and some great local restaurants. It's also quiet at night. The bungalow itself is pretty basic - bed, TV, wardrobe, A/C, and fan. The weather was nice enough that a simple fan at night was enough to keep me comfortable. Internet is available (I was able to Skype with family), but it doesn't reach the bungalow I stayed in. I definitely recommend a stay here.

  The staff was very helpful and friendly. Charlie speaks perfect English, which is also helpful. The hotel was off of the main road but very quietly recessed. It's far enough from the very touristy area to feel authentic (and is cheaper) but you will need a 25 minute walk or 50 baht for a tuk tuk. We felt really welcome, they helped us with anything. Room is big and clean. Great shower. Good wifi. Location is also very good. Far from the noise but still close enough to the beach. Dvd's at reception is also a big plus. Thank you for everything! We recommend everybody to stay at Baan Taveesri.
