The hotel is within 5 minutes of the airport terminal. There is no
aircraft noise nuisance as the hotel is set behind the restaurant. A
very pleasant restaurant and very reasonably priced. If you are an
aviation enthusiast like me you can see the aircraft taxiing and taking

walkable to/from airport - 500m from terminal, 250m from airport exit. You might even get a puppy escort. Transfer is available but not necessary. (we arrived 9:30pm). The bed was huge and a little too comfy. We had an early flight to Koh Samui the next day, so a included simple breakfast was fine. For cheap airport accommodation you will be impressed. If needed, internet is more than sufficient.

It was not too crowded so plenty of space by the pool. Beach was lovely.
On site shop, splash world (children loved it). Landscaping was
relaxing. Safe envirnment, very little traffic. Restaurant choice was
good with local restaurants near by if you wanted a change of scenery.

We stayed at the hotel for one night before moving on to a resort further north at Khao Lak. The hotel is ideally situated a short distance from the airport at Phuket. Even though it is within walking distance, the hotel offers a free airport pickup service. A simple phone call to them and 5 minutes later, they are there to pick you up.

Great location (5 minutes from the airport and no noise, 5 minutes walk to national park, 15 minutes lovely walk to very nice beach).
Great price/quality: good wifi, clean, very good matrasses (not to hard!!!).

Excellent staff, the owners (Aim & Golf) were extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. The resort is comfortable, with lovely bungalows and a great pool, and is ideal for the first one/two nights on Phuket before going on to explore other parts of the island, given it's proximity (5-10 minutes) from the airport. Nai Yang beach is 10-15 minutes walk, but will cost 100 baht (£2.50) as it is part of a national park. The food which Aim and her mother cook and deliver to your bungalow is excell

The house is close to a very quiet and long beach. We walked two hours on the beach and saw only a coupe of local fishermen and 3 or 4 hotels.
The Maikhao house is located in a village, among other houses where locals live. There are small food stores and restaurants in the Maikhao village .
