Interlaken Ost Train Station is a 15-minute walk away, while Interlaken West Train Station can be reached in a 20-minute walk. The Jungfrau Ski Area is 15 km away.

Very good hotel, right besides the river and close to the station. The Indian breakfast included is also very good and the food is authentic Indian food. Above all, the owner Rupinder Singh, talked and asked for the feedback personally and extremely friendly and was genuinely interested in improving the quality of their service. Will recommend to everyone and also in case you have any issues should talk to Mr. Singh, as he is very helpful.

The treatment of teh guest is lovely....staff extrmly friendly...if you carve for Indian food evn when you are out of India ...this place is teh best. Overall it can be a great place to stay as it is just next to river and very close to the interlaken ost station...and if you are a bollywood buff...then close to th echurch were Kajol visited:))...enjoy your stay there. The location in the centre to organise trips to other places of interest for boat trips train journey and other montain and ice sports. The view of mountains and lake gives a serene look and the food was excellent giving you a feeling of living in India. The staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. I enjoyed the stay very much and felt homely. Indian people, Indian food, plus everything was good. Hotel staff is very helpful. We had forgotton our packet over there which they sent us back in Zurich. Thank you very much for your help and you comforted us on phone for our packet. Thanks a lot again. The Jungfraujoch view from the hotel was impressive. The hotel rooms which were all along the lake gave us the feel of a cozy Chalet.The room was good and warm. Rupinder Singh was very helpful and down to earth. Zahir was very informative and helpful. Every thing was nice the room big the location over the river and close to the city down town the food was delicious the furniture was just new with small kitchen, the staff was friendly. beautiful lakeside view from room window. room was clean and spacious. the hotel has a good Indian restaurant. I read some negative comment while booking, but honestly I didn't discover any of them. Specially some said its quite Far from station, but for me it was a walkable distance. Bathroom was bit small and should be renovated, there should be window curtain on bathroom, room did not have telephone, the internet signal was fluctuating. Nothing. 1) no pick up and drop facility It is difficult to walk from station to that hotel. Not enough towels. nothing in particular. 4% surcharge for credit card not mentioned earlier at the time of booking. The breakfast was very basic. The WiFi never worked in the rooms.Food menu prices were extremely high. It never matched with the quality of food. No phone to call reception , no hair drier in bathroom.Not placing many tissue rolls in bath rooms.. The hotel is not mapped correctly on google-maps and the phone number provided does not work. Not well staffed in winter and place has a very desolate look (esp at night) with a not so well lit approach road to the hotel. Reception staff not at all courteous. nothing. Facility inside Village is needed to equip something. breakfast is very poor. Everything was good. Even though on the map it looks near to the Interlaken Ost station, the 15 minute walk to and from the station is tiring, if you are carrying your luggage. During our stay the busload of restaurant patrons who come for dinner came near the lake to take photographs. As this was really near our window, it somewhat compromised our privacy. The food is also pretty expensive (28 CH for butter chicken and 4.50 CH for a piece of naan). 1. Didn't like the ventilation facility. Had to open the windows from time to time for some good air circulation. Far too expensive for the benefit of good location; the hotel charges 4% for credit card transactions (which is disclosed only after checking in); the hotel also has numerous charges for services that are typically free at other such expensive hotels (extra pillow, pick up from station, etc). Long walking from rail station to the hotel. If you want them provide a shuttle, they will charge your CHF 12 for one way trip. Claimed our room has a view to the lake, but actually a river abount 50m wide. Location, drop off service of the guest house starts only @ 9:00 AM, However arranged taxi to bring us to railway station in time. Bath tub is in high elevation. No refreshments like sachets of coffee & tea. It was a bit difficult to find when walking from the railway station. Felt that it was a bit over priced for the over all facilities provided. The distance from Interlaken ost train station is far and not convenient to walk specially if it rains. If you are catching a train the next day, don't stay in this hotel. Its quite a walking distance if your pulling a bag around. I had to call a cab to drop us at train station with 14chf. Hotel said it provide train dropoff at chf12 but when I ask for it, they says it is unavailable in the morning. Nonsense. 1. No room service 2. Missed my Golden Pass Line train due to lack of punctuality in booking/calling a cab. Its over priced /food was too expensive/quality and variety of food served for breakfast was really Sad. 1. They seem to have a staff shortage as there was always a pick up / drop car parked but no one to drive it :) 2. They have kitchenettes in rooms but they don't work and there isn't a provision even for a coffee machine or basic boiling pans. 3. Good for Indians who cannot live without Indian food even on foreign holidays. 4. The heating in rooms does not work. Staff unfriendly. U need to payextra francs. For taken for granted things. The room was not well furnished being in middle of forest u shoud provide transport. bathroom is not clean. hotel tells us do not drop water in the floor of bathroom because water will affect on it.So, somebody tell how can you take shower without water drop in floor.????. - very basic cabins , not even one star quality - no phones , you had to walk to the reception in person each time you need somthing - lemited breakfast - not worth the money. our chk in time was 12 , we were given room @ 5pm. not even once a single staff member apologised for this.thy didnt even ask for a glass of water while we kept on waiting for the room. have been a regular international traveller but have come across for the 1st time with such PATHETIC STAFF & SERVICE. We felt we were cheated for the price we spent for the two rooms. Too small bathroom. very stiff management couldnt get blanket or towels pillow etc for our kids personality too rigid for tourist industry as the worlds most traveled man I see my share of accomodations so would recoomend to avoid this place as most other travelers had . -small room - bad breakfast - smile bad in the room.
