Situated in the peaceful Värmland countryside, this red-painted, converted barn offers a picturesque garden setting, a kitchenette and free WiFi. Stuga Backafall is 6 km north of Ekshärad village. Inspired by its rural surroundings, Stuga Backafall’s interiors feature wood-panelled walls and farmhouse-style décor. Cooking hobs, a microwave and coffee machine will prove useful at meal times. The open-plan dining/living room has a dinner table, a TV and a sofa bed. A sleeping loft is located above the living room and is accessed via a small ladder. The cottage is well insulated and is suitable for a family getaway at any time of year. Free bathrobes and slippers add even more comfort. The private bathroom includes a shower and hairdryer, and a communal laundry room can also be utilised. Linen and towels are included during your stay at Backafall. Decked with colourful flowers and furniture, the terrace is the perfect spot to catch the morning sun. Other seating areas and a BBQ grill are found in the garden. Children might enjoy getting to know the highland cows which are bred on site. Outdoorsy types can fish on Lake Busjön or canoe down the Torsby River. Free parking is available at Stuga Backafall. Karlstad city centre is 95 km south of the cottage.
