Everything about this hotel was just perfect. We were lucky enough to book a double room, as the hotel was fully booked. No wonder! The owner was superlative in every way, trained in hospitality with a
wealth of experience and knowledge about how to run a hotel business. He
is smart, resourceful, really cared about his guests, and speaks English
beautifully. The rooms were each beautifully and individually decorated
with taste, a mini fridge, some with balconies, situated in the old and

Superb value for money, a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach surrounded by mountains in a small bay. I was travelling with 2 small dogs and it's not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels but they were so accommodating and helpful. They sorted out my diet, helped us to book train tickets on line, helped to sort out the aftermath of a minor accident, were always very friendly...in short wonderful. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was good and comfortable, the breakfast was good- all in all very good value and highly recoemended.

The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.
