The apartment was very well maintained and contained everything that we needed – a well equipped kitchen, good wi-fi, big TV, clean towels and sheets.   I was extremely pleased with the Apartamentos Ran de Mar. I paid a low price and di not expect much for my money. However, I was suprised at the accommodation. It is clean and had the necessities for a self catering break. It is not luxury but that is reflected in the price. The hotel is on the Paguera boulevard and has lots of shops near. It even has an internal corridor to get straight to the beach. We took the half pension based on a comment on this website and it was the best decision. The food was good and you always have at least 3 options of meat, salads, etc. It's also near beautiful Cala Fornells which I recommend to visit. Time of the year: end of June 2013.

Sand beaches are about 5 minutes of walk on the one side, around 15 minutes on the other side.
