  Brand new hotel with large, comfortable rooms as well as a large shower/toilet. The hotel is paired with a 'sidreria', which is a bit like an oversized pub: hearty food, 9 types of Cider from the (huge!) barrels, as well as red, white & rose wines from the barrel. The food is excellent: dry-aged beef, all the basque classics (kokotxoa, cod-st... co mówią ludzie » uffed peppers). The menu is a steal at just under 30 euros, jugs of wine to go with them at about 6 euros per jug a bargain as well. A la carte is che - The stay here worked out perfectely well. It was so good that we had extended it with additional days. The service and the breakfast were excellent. The owner of the place Mrs Arantxa Arruti had a smile on her face all the time ! The personal in the restaurant was always very accomodating and happy to help. The place is strategically positioned in between SanSebastian and Bilbao and all the places of interest are within an easy reach. Hasta luego !

  Located just across the road from La Zurriola beach (the surfing beach) and the Kursaal Congress Centre and Auditorium. It's an easy 5 mins minutes walk across the bridge to the main city centre, making it very convenient and yet safe & not noisy. It is a small place overall but the room was spacious, has a small balcony overlooking the street... co mówią ludzie » and the Auditorium, very comfortable, clean & cozy, real comfy bed & pillows too. There is constantly someone at the reception to assist you, - Pension Kursaal feels like a very good 3-star hotel to me. The room and bathroom are spacious, with a little balcony overlooking the Kursaal convention centre (room 14). It is well equipped with strong shower and hair dryer. The pillow is really comfortable! Wifi is fast. Just around 10 mins walk to the old part. A really good hotel overall!

  Pension is really great. It is constructed inside the building that is surrounded by factories, but inside it's looking amazing. The owner is great person. He was building pension for five years by himself and he did a great job! He waited for us until 3 a.m. in the morning and allowed us to check out at 3 p.m. because of it. He also gave us gifts... co mówią ludzie » :) It's 4-5 km from San Sebastian center, but if you have a car, it's really no problem... I will come back here next time! - Never judge a book by it's cover! This hotel is built within an old factory so the outside looks horrible but after taking the industrial lift upstairs you enter into another world. Clean, stylish, contemporary design with all the facilities. We used it as a stop over but you could use it as a base to explore the nearby mountains and coast of San Sabastian. The owner is really helpful and friendly and gave us maps and advice.

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! Thanks Javier and Pension... co mówią ludzie » ! Also we survived the bulls! =) - EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))
