We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed
by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part
was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality
beds, and my husband liked the restaurant.

We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after.
A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

Good location close to Santiago Lugo airport, good quality hotel with excellent facilities, very comfortable high standard rooms quiet and relaxing. Would recommend this hotel for visiting Santiago and surrounding areas of Galicia. - Very pleasant hotel. Good service. The food is good as well. The shutte to the town center is very convenient.

One of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in.
We first stayed in the Hotel Ancora 7 years ago and we have been made so welcome in this wonderful friendly, family hotel. It’s a fairly simple hotel, but very clean and comfortable with all rooms en suite. It has a great kitchen – absolutely delicious seafood, some of the best I have ever eate

We stayed one night at Hotel Colon Tuy in May 2013. This is very good hotel with the big room equipped with all necessary equipment. The bath room is big enough and equipped with the bathtub. Restaurant is good. The breakfast was delicious, the food was divers and plentiful. It was the very good relaxation point on my way to Santiago de Compostela
