  We had a wonderful time. They were so helpful with telling us about the area and what to do. One evening we went to see the fishermen bringing in their catch and watching the auctioner bargain the prices.

There should be a sign on the drawers beneath the hanging rod about how to open. We loved especially the superb window and sound insulation, the induction cooktop.. While the street is very quiet (and safe), the building is soundproof. This apartment/hotel is in a historical building that has been recently rehabilitated with great care by the owner and his wife, who is an interior designer.

  This hotel was a delight. It is situated about 50m from a lovely beach and our room and balcony overlooked the sea. The Alen do mar is in a quiet, secluded spot but is in easy reach of the town of Fisterra, with its many restaurants. The breakfast was full and delicious and the service was wonderful.   The location, peaceful and rural but just a few minutes by car from stunning beaches, is perfect and has excellent outside space. Inside the hotel everything is spotlessly clean and a lot of thought has gone into making the best use of space. They provide a level of service all too rarely found these days. Breakfasts are varied but always good and sufficient; like the evening - Alex and Monica's hospitality. They were ever so helpful in recommending places to visit and foods to try .
