Lovely hotel. The inside is much better than the outside. don't judge a book ... We had a good welcome from the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the Plaza Mayor once you get your bearings. If we went to Caceres again we would stay here -

A lovely little hotel in the heart of Merida.Once the car was parked, a couple of hundred metres away, then everything is accessible. Just down the road from the ampitheatre and the "tren turistico" Take the road train (a bit cheesy I know) for a fact finding locator of all the Roman monuments.

The man working at the desk offered to take our bags to our room or show us around if we had any questions. The rooms were good sized and comfortable.
