Stayed in this charming hotel with excellent service for 11 nights. The hotel is at an ideal location, a five minute walk from the beach, the retail area, and the old walled part of the city. The rooms are modest but there is a great terrace off the fourth floor that offers one of the best views of the city.

The host. Lluis helped so much with everything that we had nothing to worry about. (Restraunts, sightseeing, directions, where to go, etc.)
Hotel location is very good, ~5 mins from the beach.
There is a really nice walking path up to the mountains, it takes 10-15 mins to get to wonderful views.
Parking helped a lot.
Terrace is really peaceful and nice.

Beautiful decorated interiors, lovely garden, quiet area, but most of all a very personal welcome and warm hospitality by the owners. A lot of attention for all details, and excellent dining! Also our three daughters of 7, 11 and 12 yrs old liked this hotel very much.

There are only 25 rooms in this hotel, so the service was superb. We were addressed on a first-name basis by the staff (great job Javier, Wim, and Ignacio!) We felt extremely welcome and appreciated. The location was unbeatable - 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. Rooms were comfortable, efficient, and sleekly designed - and the extra "salon" was a bonus. We also enjoyed the 24-hour complimentary cafe and the personalized breakfast.

The Hotel is beautiful,but there were very few large bath towels, no
small wash clothes and no extra pillows. Also we checked in at 10:00 am
and left our bags since our mini suites were not ready. We gave our
passport copies, our credit cards and all info, but when we came back at
5 pm from sightseeing,our bags were still not brought to our rooms. We
were 3 couples and were exhausted. They said they needed another
signature before they could put the bags in the rooms. It was ridiculous

The place is charming and full of history, especially if you sleep in the old part. Good restaurant. It is a familly run hotel and you get to meet the members (which are very nice people!). Nice decor and pool (especially when traveling in summer).

New well appointed rooms, breakfast was good, choice of eggs, bacon and buffet. We chose to have dinner at the hotel, rabbit stew and flan were both excellent. Come prepared for outdoor activities, white water rafting trips are available nearby. Staff was very accomodating. -

Wonderful hotel in the countryside near Banyoles. This is a lovely small hotel that shows care and thoughtfulness in attention to detail. We had a lovely brief stay.
