  We were a little disappointed to find the pool closed but in common with other Spanish Paradors pool season starts 1st June. We were treated to wonderful views of Puebla de Sanabria from our room and the ambience of the hotel was restful, relaxing and of high quality. The staff excelled themselves and exceeded our expectations.   Everything was lovely. The situation of the hotel, just a few kms off the autovia between Badajoz and Barcelona is perfect and the village is charming and historical. We had delicious lunch and diner at the restautant/bar 100m away that they own. The village is ancient and well restored and is definetely worth a visit.
