Very high quality building. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Cheap use for laundry / washing machine, close drive to some awesome parks, lakes and mountain townships. Helpful staff and provided useful day trip advise. We liked it so much we stayed an extra two nights. Back rooms have excellent mountain views to enjoy with private terraces. Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))

I loved the design and art work and the thematic ties with the amazing Guggenhein Museum and Fine Arts Museum, both of which are within such easy walking distance.
