  We had a wonderful experience of staying in Mar Blava! First of all, it is located in a very nice part of Ciutadella, on the rocky bank of a small bay, and you can go down to the sea, sit on the rocks, sunbathe, swim and enjoy the beautiful landscape without leaving the hotel's territory.   The location was excellent: close to "the strip", the beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel was not noisy. I liked the poolarea very much, if you are a young group you will get new friends by the pool. The rooms are not modern but acceptable.   Reception desk was always helpful. Handy attached shop. Good value restaurant with friendly staff. Proximity of the sea (we swam every day before breakfast). Clean beach. Pool looked good but we never used it. Value for money (late May/early June). Self catering was useful to have. Towels changed daily and floor cleaned. Plenty of hot water.   We ended up getting a 4-person apartment because it was still cheaper than anything on the Island for two people. It was very nice! It was great staying right next to one of their 4 pools, and just a 5-10 minute walk from a very nice beach.   hotel was clean, equipments were modern and new, staff was very polite - Very pleasant hotel within 10 minutes walk from Plaza de Espana. Reception staff all speak good English too.

  Fantastic pool-side with the couches at the front The music was great- no need for my headphones between 10am and 10pm! Decent and varied brunch until midday with eggs and toast to fruit and cereal. The self contained rooms are decent in size and reasonably clean with daily housekeeping to make your bed. Aside from requesting a double bed and getting 3 singles (pushed together) which my boyfriend ended up sleeping in the crack every night, the place was very good value for money and i'd recommend for a place with a 'lively' atmosphere!

And the manager Toni is always on-hand to help and provide info where needed.
